Wild Child

Where adventure meets softness

The Challenge

Development of a fictional brand and a coherent packaging system for five different packaging types, created as part of a Packaging Design course during my study-abroad semester. The project included defining a brand archetype, persona and visual direction as the foundation for the design process.

The Solution

A consistent brand identity was developed and translated into five different packaging formats. While each package responds to its own form, function and level of complexity, shared visual elements create a coherent and recognisable product family.

The Process:

Based on research into outdoor and lifestyle brands, the project explored how adventure and activity could be combined with a softer and more approachable brand character. This led to the development of a persona and brand archetype, which informed a visual identity defined by a contrasting colour palette, typography and imagery. The resulting system was then tested and adapted through sketches, form studies and layout variations across five different packaging types, creating a coherent product family despite their different forms and functions.
